How can we help?

Find answers, guidance and support from Team Grassroots.

Orders & delivery

How do I place an order?

Choose the product, size, colour and quantity, then check any personalisation before adding it to your basket. Review the delivery details and total at checkout. For a team or club order that needs advice, send us your requirements before purchasing.

What information helps with an order enquiry?

Send your order number, the name and email used for the purchase, and a short explanation of what you need. For a teamwear enquiry, include the product, quantities, sizes, decoration and required date. Do not send card details or passwords.

How do I know my order was received?

Look for your order confirmation and check your spam or junk folder. If it has not arrived, contact us with the email used, approximate order time and payment reference if available. Avoid placing a duplicate order until we have checked.

Which payment methods can I use?

The available payment options are shown at checkout. Use those options to complete an online purchase. For a quoted club order, follow the payment instructions on the quotation or invoice and include the reference requested.

How long will my order take?

Timing depends on stock, supplier availability, personalisation and delivery service. Printing and embroidery add production time. Check the product information and any agreed quotation. If you need an order for a specific fixture or event, ask us to confirm feasibility before ordering.

Is dispatch the same as delivery?

No. Dispatch means the parcel has left us; delivery is when it reaches you. Production time, supplier lead time and courier transit are separate. A delivery estimate should be read with any order-specific information, especially for personalised or non-stock items.

How much is delivery?

Available charges and services are shown at checkout or included in your quotation. Confirm the destination and order contents before payment. Large equipment, multiple parcels or destinations outside the standard delivery area may need a separate delivery arrangement.

Can I arrange collection or delivery outside the mainland?

Contact us first. Our live shipping page offers customer collection and asks customers outside the standard area to enquire. We will need your location and order details to check options. Wait for a collection-ready confirmation before travelling.

Can I change an order or delivery address?

Contact us immediately with the order number and the exact change. We will check whether it is still possible. Changes may be limited once sourcing, personalisation or dispatch has begun. Do not assume a request has been accepted until confirmed.

How do I track an order?

Use any dispatch email or tracking information provided for your order. If you cannot find it, ask us to check the status. A personalised order can still be in production before courier tracking becomes available.

What if my parcel is late, missing or incomplete?

Check any courier update and the order paperwork, then contact us with the order number and details of what arrived or is missing. Retain packaging and photograph damage where relevant. We will check the order and the delivery position with you.

What if I have an urgent deadline or a delayed item?

Tell us the required arrival date before ordering. We will check stock and production options rather than promise a date we cannot meet. If an existing order is delayed, contact us for an update and discuss the available options; any applicable legal rights remain unaffected.

Teamwear & kit

Can you supply a team or an entire club?

Yes. Team Grassroots offers teamwear support for single teams and club orders, with printing and embroidery handled in-house. Tell us who you are ordering for, your colours, budget, quantities and required date so we can discuss suitable options.

Which brands can I choose from?

Our teamwear offer includes brands such as Nike, Puma, adidas, Stanno, Avec, Hummel and Givova. Available products, sizes and colours vary by range. Check the current selection or ask us to recommend options for your club.

What should I include in a quotation request?

Provide the team or club name, age groups, product requirements, colours, quantities and size breakdown. Include badge and sponsor artwork, numbers or initials, your budget and deadline. State whether you need match kits, training wear, goalkeeper items or coaches’ clothing.

How do I select the right sizes?

Use the size guide for the exact brand and product. Measure players rather than relying only on age labels, and consider fit preferences and layers. Sizes are not directly interchangeable between brands. Ask about any available sizing support before approving personalisation.

Can I order different sizes in one team order?

Yes, specify the quantity of each size and product clearly in your enquiry. For numbered or named garments, use a row for each player or item. Keep one master list so the totals and decoration instructions can be checked together.

Can you help with colours and kit clashes?

Tell us your club colours and the competition you play in. We can discuss practical home, away and goalkeeper choices. Check the league’s kit requirements before ordering; online photographs and screen colours are not an exact colour-match guarantee.

What is included in the price?

Check the product listing or quotation for the garments, quantities and decoration included. Ask for a clear breakdown of any additional badges, sponsor marks, numbers, initials, delivery and taxes. Do not assume every decoration option is included in a base garment price.

Can I buy goalkeeper kits and coaches’ clothing?

Ask us about the relevant goalkeeper, training and staff ranges. Requirements may differ from the outfield kit, especially colours and fit. Include these items in the same enquiry so we can check availability and coordinate the club’s overall look.

Can we reorder the same kit later?

Keep the product code, brand, colour and approved decoration details. Ask us to check availability when reordering: suppliers can discontinue ranges or change stock. If long-term continuity matters, discuss the range lifecycle before choosing the club kit.

Can we add a player or order a small top-up?

Send the exact product and decoration details, size and quantity required. We will check whether a matching item is available and whether any order minimum or setup charge applies. A top-up order may have a different price or lead time from the original order.

How does an online club shop work?

A club shop gives members a dedicated route to the club’s agreed clothing range. Discuss the products, badge, personalisation and ordering arrangements with us. Confirm setup terms, pricing, delivery and any club benefits before promoting it to families.

What should we check before confirming a kit order?

Check products, colours, size totals, spellings, numbers, artwork positions and the agreed timeline. Nominate one authorised club contact. Personalised garments are generally excluded from change-of-mind cancellation, so resolve sizing and artwork questions first; faulty or incorrect supply remains a separate matter.

Printing & embroidery

Do you print and embroider in-house?

Yes. Team Grassroots handles printing and embroidery in-house as part of its teamwear service. We will advise on an appropriate decoration method for the garment, artwork and intended use.

What is the difference between printing and embroidery?

Printing applies a design to the garment surface and is often suited to numbers, sponsor marks and detailed graphics. Embroidery stitches the design into the fabric and is commonly used for badges. Suitability depends on the material, design, size and location.

What artwork should I send?

Send the best original artwork you have, ideally a vector file such as PDF, SVG or EPS where available. A high-resolution PNG may also help. Avoid screenshots or small images copied from social media. We will check usability before confirming production requirements.

Can you work with a low-quality logo?

Send it for assessment. Some artwork may need redrawing, simplification or preparation before decoration, especially fine text or intricate embroidery. Ask us to confirm any artwork charge and whether an amended version needs your approval. Do not assume enlargement creates missing detail.

Can I add names, numbers, initials and sponsors?

Include each requirement in your enquiry and identify the garment and position. Provide spellings and numbers in a clear list. Decoration options depend on the garment, available space and any relevant competition restrictions.

Who checks the artwork and item list?

The club should nominate an authorised contact to check all supplied details and any proof provided. Check badge, sponsor, spelling, numbers, colour, size and position. Proof approval helps avoid errors but does not remove rights where goods are faulty or supplied differently from the agreed order.

Will colours and positions match my screen exactly?

Screens and digital proofs are guides. Fabric, thread and print processes affect the finished result, and placement may vary with garment size. Tell us if a specific colour or measurement is important so we can discuss what can reasonably be achieved before production.

Are there setup or artwork costs?

These depend on the job. Embroidery can require digitising the artwork, and other designs may need preparation. Ask for the quotation to identify any setup, artwork or repeat-order charges. There is no universal fee or minimum stated in this guide.

Can you decorate garments we already own?

Ask us before bringing or sending them. We need to check fabric, condition, construction and decoration suitability, and confirm whether the job can be accepted. Request the agreed price and terms for customer-supplied garments before proceeding.

Can we change personalisation after approval?

Contact us immediately. Changes may still be possible before production, but options can narrow once decoration begins. We will check the position and any additional cost. Wait for written confirmation rather than assuming the original instructions have changed.

How should personalised garments be washed?

Follow the garment care label and any decoration instructions supplied with the order. Wash and dry at the permitted settings; avoid direct heat on prints and do not iron over decoration. Ask us if the label and decoration instructions appear inconsistent.

What if a print or embroidered badge develops a problem?

Contact us with the order number, photographs and a description of the issue, including care followed. Stop any attempted repair until we have discussed it. We will assess the concern; normal wear, accidental damage and a production fault are different situations.

FA Respect

What is the FA Respect Shop?

The Respect Shop offers resources that help clubs communicate positive behaviour and create a welcoming matchday environment. Team Grassroots works with The FA on this shop. Products support the message; clubs still need clear expectations and consistent action.

Which Respect products are available?

The range includes items such as spectator barriers, A-boards, posters or signs and high-visibility bibs. Product availability and specifications can change. Check the current listings for dimensions, quantities, materials and what each bundle includes.

What should our team buy first?

Think about the problem you want to solve: defining a spectator area, displaying behaviour expectations or identifying a matchday volunteer. Check league and venue arrangements, then choose equipment that supports them. A club-wide plan is more effective than buying a sign alone.

How do we choose a spectator barrier?

Check the length needed, ground type, safe access routes and storage requirements. Read the product specification and installation instructions. A spectator barrier marks an area; it should not be assumed to be a crowd-restraint or security barrier.

Can a league or County FA order for several clubs?

Contact us with the products, quantities, delivery locations and deadline. Tell us whether one organisation will pay or whether clubs will redeem individual codes. We can discuss the supply enquiry and confirm the arrangements rather than assume one format suits every programme.

What are Respect discount vouchers?

Respect vouchers allow a purchaser to provide a code for eligible products. Values and savings are shown on the current listing. Keep the code secure and share it only with the intended recipient; it is not the same as an unrestricted cash payment.

How do I receive and use a voucher?

The published voucher listing says codes are emailed after purchase. Check spam or junk if needed. Follow the instructions and eligible-product rules supplied with the code. If it does not work, contact us privately with the purchase reference; never post the full code publicly.

Do vouchers expire or allow repeat use?

The current listing states one redemption per code and validity for three months after purchase. Check the terms supplied for your actual voucher. Ask before ordering if you need clarification about balances, eligible goods, delivery charges or expiry.

Can Respect materials be customised?

Ask us whether customisation is available for the selected item. Changes to FA-branded artwork may need approval. Do not alter or reproduce official branding without permission, and do not assume a customised product is part of an approved FA campaign.

Who should handle poor touchline behaviour?

Follow your club and competition procedures. Matchday volunteers can communicate expectations within their role, while officials manage the fixture under its rules. Safeguarding concerns, discrimination or threatening conduct may require formal reporting. Buying equipment does not give a volunteer enforcement powers.

Are you the organisation that handles disciplinary complaints?

Team Grassroots is not the football disciplinary authority. Report football disciplinary matters through the relevant club, league or County FA process. For an immediate threat or emergency, contact the emergency services. Shop enquiries should be sent to our customer team.

What if equipment is missing or arrives damaged?

Contact us with the order number, product and photographs where useful. Keep packaging while the issue is checked. For setup or maintenance questions, use the product instructions and ask for clarification before putting equipment into use.

Returns & exchanges

Can I return an item bought online if I change my mind?

For most goods bought online as a UK consumer, tell us within 14 calendar days after receipt that you wish to cancel. You normally then have a further 14 days to send the goods back. Exceptions apply, including genuinely personalised goods. Contact us for return instructions.

Do these rules apply to every club order?

Consumer cancellation rights apply to qualifying consumer purchases. A purchase made for a club, company or organisation may be a business transaction with different terms. Tell us who bought the goods and contact us about the applicable order terms; do not assume every team order has identical rights.

Can I return a personalised item?

Genuinely made-to-specification or clearly personalised goods are generally excluded from change-of-mind cancellation. That does not remove rights if goods are faulty, misdescribed or supplied incorrectly. Contact us if there is an issue with the garment or its decoration.

Can I try on a standard garment?

Consumers may inspect goods as they would in a shop. Take care of items, labels and packaging and avoid using them beyond inspection if you plan to return them. A deduction may be appropriate for handling beyond what is needed to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and functioning.

What if I chose the wrong size?

Contact us with the order details and explain whether the item is personalised. A standard online consumer purchase may qualify for cancellation; a personalised item generally does not qualify simply because the selected size is unsuitable. Any additional exchange service depends on the order terms and availability.

What if you sent the wrong item or personalisation?

Tell us what was agreed and what arrived. Provide the order number and photographs where helpful. We will check the item against the order. Customer approval does not remove rights where the supplied goods do not match the agreed specification.

What if an item is faulty?

Contact us with proof of purchase and details of the fault. Qualifying consumer rights can include rejection, repair or replacement depending on timing and circumstances. A change-of-mind exclusion for personalised goods does not exclude fault rights.

Do sale items have different fault rights?

No. Buying a product in a sale does not remove statutory consumer rights. If a particular fault was disclosed before purchase, that specific issue is different from an undisclosed fault. Contact us about any unexpected problem with the product.

How do I arrange a return?

Contact us before posting to confirm instructions and the correct destination. Give your order number, the items and whether you are cancelling, asking about an exchange or reporting a fault. A request for instructions is not intended to restrict a valid statutory cancellation notice.

Who pays the postage and what is refunded?

For eligible consumer cancellation, standard outbound delivery is normally refundable; premium delivery upgrades need not be. Change-of-mind return costs depend on information given before purchase. Faulty-goods return arrangements are separate. Ask us for instructions for your specific order before choosing a postal service.

How quickly should a cancellation refund be made?

For qualifying online consumer cancellations, the refund is generally due within 14 days after returned goods are received or earlier evidence of sending them back, subject to the applicable rules. Different remedies can apply to faulty goods. We will confirm the position for your order.

Is there an extended returns policy or a hygiene exception?

Any extra goodwill return period is separate from statutory rights; check the current policy and your order terms. Certain sealed health or hygiene goods can be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation once unsealed, but a blanket exclusion of all clothing would not be appropriate. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Campaigns & programmes

What campaigns does Team Grassroots support?

We work with football organisations, charities and brands on programmes that support grassroots communities. Examples include kit programmes and Respect initiatives. Each campaign has its own purpose, eligibility, application process and delivery arrangements.

Which programmes are open now?

Check the current campaign page for dates and status. An older article, social post or downloaded guide does not mean applications are still open. Follow the link to the latest programme information before making an application.

Who can apply?

Read the programme’s eligibility carefully: it may specify team age, location, club status, new or emerging provision, or participant groups. Check all criteria before applying. If something is unclear, ask the named programme contact rather than guessing.

How do we apply?

Use the official application route linked from the current programme page. Complete the required fields accurately and submit before the deadline. Keep a copy or reference. Sending a social message is not a substitute for an application unless the programme explicitly allows it.

What information should we prepare?

Have the club and team details, authorised contact, relevant age group and evidence of eligibility ready. Some programmes may need a delivery address, quantities, sizes or artwork. Only provide information requested through the official process.

Does applying guarantee support?

No. Applications may be assessed against eligibility, programme priorities and available capacity. A submission or acknowledgement does not mean an award has been made. Wait for the programme’s confirmation before promising equipment or support to your team.

Can a club apply for more than one team?

Check the campaign rules. Some programmes limit applications per club, team or organisation, while others permit multiple eligible teams. Do not submit duplicates to improve your chances; ask for clarification where the rules do not cover your situation.

Can we update an application after submitting it?

Contact the programme using your reference and explain exactly what has changed. Whether an amendment can be accepted depends on the deadline and process. Wait for confirmation; a follow-up email does not automatically replace the original information.

How will we hear about the outcome?

Follow the communication method and timeline stated by the programme. Check the contact email, spam folder and any application portal. If the published response date has passed, contact the named programme team with your reference.

When will successful applicants receive support?

Use the delivery information in the award confirmation. Production, artwork, size confirmation and programme schedules can affect timing. Supply requested information promptly and tell the programme contact about changes to your delivery details.

Will we need to share photographs or reports?

Some programmes request evidence of delivery or impact. Read those conditions before accepting support. Use appropriate permissions for participant photographs, especially children, and do not publish sensitive information or images where consent or safeguarding arrangements are unclear.

Can a business partner with Team Grassroots?

Yes, contact us with your organisation, the community outcome you want to achieve, your proposed support and timeline. We can discuss whether a partnership fits grassroots needs and our delivery work. Programme support is agreed separately from ordinary shop orders.

Funding

Does Team Grassroots provide grants?

We share funding information and may help deliver particular programmes with partners. The organisation named on an opportunity decides its terms and awards. Do not assume Team Grassroots is the funder or decision-maker unless the programme explicitly says so.

Where should we look for funding?

Use our Funding section as a starting point, then visit the funder’s official page. Look for opportunities matching your location, participants and purpose. Check the live deadline rather than relying on an older article or social post.

How do we know whether our club is eligible?

Read the funder’s rules on legal status, sport, location, age groups, bank accounts and intended expenditure. Check any exclusions or previous-award limits. Ask the funder about uncertainty before spending time on an application.

What should we prepare before applying?

Have an agreed project, realistic budget, club governance details, appropriate bank information and evidence of local need. Funders may request safeguarding policies, accounts, quotations or participation information. Supply only what is needed through the official route.

How can we explain the need clearly?

Describe who will benefit, the barrier they face and what the project will change. Use accurate figures and relevant feedback. Avoid generic claims; explain how the proposed activity supports your community and how you will know it has helped.

What makes a useful project budget?

List the actual costs, quantities and assumptions, including taxes and delivery where applicable. Identify any contribution from the club or other funders. Check eligible-cost rules, timing and whether match funding is required. Do not inflate costs to reach a grant limit.

Can we buy equipment before a decision?

Check the funder’s rules first. Many schemes will not fund costs incurred before an award or an approved start date. An application is not a guarantee. Avoid committing the club to spending based only on an expected grant.

Can we apply to more than one funder?

Often, but every scheme has its own rules. Be transparent about other applications or awards where requested. Do not claim the same cost twice or use restricted funding for a different purpose. Keep separate records for each award.

Can funding cover kit, facilities or running costs?

It depends on the scheme. Some support equipment or participation projects; others exclude kit, routine expenses or capital work. Follow the named funder’s eligible and ineligible-cost guidance rather than assuming all grassroots costs qualify.

Does Team Grassroots guarantee an opportunity is still open?

No. Funding information can change after an article is published. The funder’s current terms and status govern the application. Check the official page and notify us if a listing appears outdated or its link is broken.

What happens if we receive an award?

Read the award conditions before accepting. Record restrictions, spend within the allowed dates and keep invoices and evidence. Tell the committee who is responsible for delivery and reporting. Get the funder’s agreement before changing an approved project.

What if our application is unsuccessful?

Ask for feedback where offered, then review eligibility, clarity, budget and fit. An unsuccessful application does not mean the project has no value. Consider a smaller plan, a different funder or community fundraising while avoiding commitments the club cannot afford.

Grassroots football

Can you help us start a club?

Our club setup resources explain the main planning, governance, finance and safety steps. In England, contact your County FA early to confirm affiliation and role requirements. Starting a team within an existing club may be another option worth exploring.

How do I find a club or team?

Use an appropriate football finder and contact the club directly about vacancies, age groups and training. Check safeguarding contacts, fees, provision and suitability before joining. A listing is a starting point, not a guarantee of places or endorsement.

Can a child contact clubs through Team Finder?

For under-18 enquiries on the Team Grassroots Finder, a parent or guardian should manage contact. Do not publish a child’s personal phone number or private contact details. Follow the Finder’s current terms and use the club’s official communication route.

How do I become a volunteer?

Speak with a club about the tasks it needs help with and the time you can offer. Coaching, administration, fundraising and matchday support all matter. Use our volunteer guide to understand roles; clubs must arrange appropriate recruitment, learning and checks for the duties.

Where can coaches find resources?

Use our coaching resources and the relevant governing-body learning platform. Adapt sessions to players’ age, ability, experience and needs. A downloaded session plan does not replace required learning, safe supervision, first-aid cover or a venue risk assessment.

Who sets team formats and competition rules?

The governing body and relevant competition determine the applicable rules. Ask the league or County FA about format, age eligibility, player registration and any rule changes. Do not rely on a generic online answer for a specific season or competition.

Who should I contact about safeguarding?

Use your club welfare officer or County FA safeguarding lead. If the concern involves that person, contact an alternative appropriate safeguarding route directly. Do not wait for a committee meeting or discuss allegations publicly. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.

What if I disagree with selection or playing time?

Start with the club’s published approach and speak calmly with the coach or an appropriate club contact. Use its complaints process if needed. Ordinary selection disagreements are not automatically safeguarding concerns, although any separate risk of harm must still be reported appropriately.

How do I report discrimination or serious misconduct?

Use the relevant club, league or County FA reporting procedure and retain factual information. Match officials and disciplinary authorities have their own responsibilities. Team Grassroots can share information but does not investigate or decide football disciplinary cases.

Can you tell us whether our pitch or goals are safe?

A website or template cannot approve your site. The responsible people must inspect conditions, assess risks and implement controls. Follow manufacturer instructions and current governing-body guidance. Do not use unsafe goals or equipment while waiting for advice.

Can I share a story, photograph or video?

Use the story submission route and provide accurate context and permission to share the material. For children, follow club safeguarding and parent/carer permission arrangements; consider opposition permissions and anyone visible. Do not send confidential case details or unnecessary personal information.

Is Team Grassroots a governing body?

No. Team Grassroots is a grassroots football organisation providing news, support, campaigns, teamwear and equipment. We work with partners, but our general resources are not automatically official governing-body guidance. Use your national association and local football authority for rules and regulatory decisions.

General

What is Team Grassroots?

Team Grassroots brings together grassroots football news, practical resources, campaigns, teamwear and equipment. Our work is built around Inform, Support and Equip: sharing what matters, supporting opportunities and helping teams get ready to play.

Who operates Team Grassroots?

Team Grassroots is the trading name of Grassroots Football Limited. For contractual or company information, use the current legal notices and order documentation. Contact our team if you need supplier details for a club purchase.

How do I contact the team?

Use the Contact page or email info@teamgrassroots.co.uk. Include a clear subject and the relevant order or application reference. Describe what you need and give an appropriate contact detail. Never include passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary information about children.

How can I help you answer my enquiry?

For orders, send the order number and product details. For teamwear, include quantities, sizes, decoration and deadline. For campaigns, include the programme and application reference. For a story, explain what happened and who can verify it.

Can I speak to someone about a club order?

Contact us with the club’s requirements and who is authorised to organise the purchase. We can discuss teamwear and equipment enquiries. Any quotation, payment arrangement, production estimate or discount should be confirmed for the particular order.

Do I need an account to shop?

Use the options offered by the current checkout. If account access is needed for a club service, follow its instructions. We do not assume every website feature uses the same account. Contact us if you are unsure which login belongs to your enquiry.

What if I cannot sign in?

Check the email address used and try the available password-reset process. If it still fails, contact us with a description or screenshot that excludes passwords and sensitive information. Do not give anyone your password to investigate an account issue.

Can I sign up for news and updates?

Use the newsletter form and check any confirmation instructions. Read the privacy information supplied with signup. Use the unsubscribe option in a message if you no longer want updates; an essential order message is different from marketing.

Can I reuse your articles, logo or photographs?

Ask permission before reproducing material beyond uses allowed by law or an explicit licence. Photographs, partner branding and third-party material may have separate rights. Sharing a link to a public story is different from copying the article or downloading its images for advertising.

Can our brand or organisation work with you?

Send a short introduction, the grassroots audience you want to support, your proposed activity, budget or resources and timeline. We can discuss suitability. A partnership or sponsorship arrangement should be agreed before using logos or announcing an association.

How do I raise a service complaint?

Contact us with the reference, the issue and the outcome you are seeking. Keep the account factual and provide relevant documents or photographs. Product/customer-service complaints go to Team Grassroots; football disciplinary and safeguarding matters have separate reporting routes.

What if a page, price or link seems wrong?

Tell us which page is affected and what you noticed, ideally with a screenshot and time. Do not complete a purchase based on an assumption about a conflicting offer; ask for clarification. Applicable consumer rights are not removed by an error notice.
